How Our Ordering Process Works

When you choose furniture from Real Vintage, our dedicated team in Countryside, IL, gets to work right away.

Here’s what happens: we carefully retrieve your selected item from our inventory and perform a thorough inspection. We check every detail to ensure everything is in excellent condition. If any touch-ups are needed, our skilled restoration team will make the necessary improvements. Otherwise, it moves on quickly to our shipping team, ready for scheduling delivery to your address.

If restoration is required, it may extend the delivery time beyond our typical 2 to 4 weeks. At the moment, the estimated timeframe, including restoration, is around 6 to 8 weeks.

We keep you updated throughout the process with regular Order Status Updates at each step, so you’re always informed. Have any questions or special requests? Now’s the perfect time to let us know, and we’re here to assist.

Once the restoration is complete, we’ll share photos of your beautifully refreshed piece via email, showcasing the craftsmanship of our expert team.

Packing and Shipping

Next comes the packaging and shipment of your order. Given the size and weight of furniture items, we take extra care when preparing them for delivery. We work with a national network of trusted shipping partners who specialize in careful handling and timely deliveries. Coordinating the next available truck to your area may take a little time, but rest assured, the wait is worth it.

Once your order is on the way, it’s just 3 to 5 days until delivery. Your shipper will get in touch to finalize the details with you.

Local Delivery / Pickup Options

Local Delivery or Pickup Options: If you’re near Chicagoland or planning a visit, you can opt to pick up your order yourself. Our website offers options for Local Delivery (within a 25-mile radius of our Countryside, IL, warehouse for a flat $150 fee) and free Local Pickup.

Shipping Costs

Understanding Shipping Costs: We offer a flat-rate nationwide shipping fee for all items, which varies depending on the type of item. The exact fee will be displayed when you add an item to your cart. When purchasing multiple items, only the highest flat rate applies, and the other items ship for free on the same truck.

If you’d like to see the shipping cost for individual items, make sure your cart is empty before adding the next item to get an accurate estimate.

Although shipping fees differ (a large sectional sofa costs more than a smaller credenza or a set of dining chairs), we’ve calculated the best possible flat rates to ensure high-quality service and careful delivery of your furniture investment.
